Understand how our HTTP/HTTPS caching proxy services operate and your responsibilities as a user.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Unveil Technology ("we," "our," "us") WebProxyCache caching proxy services (the "Services"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Services.

2. Services

Unveil Technology provides WebProxyCache, an enterprise HTTP/HTTPS caching proxy solution designed to optimize bandwidth, accelerate content delivery, and protect network traffic. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Services at any time, with or without notice.

3. License and Usage

  • WebProxyCache is distributed as an ISO image for deployment on your own infrastructure.
  • You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software in accordance with these Terms.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security and configuration of your WebProxyCache deployment.
  • You must ensure your deployment complies with all applicable local laws and regulations.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or to facilitate illegal activities.
  • Attempt to bypass, disable, or circumvent any security measures.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software except as expressly permitted by law.
  • Redistribute, sublicense, or sell the software without prior written consent.
  • Use the caching proxy to intercept or modify content in ways that violate third-party rights.

We reserve the right to revoke your license if you violate these rules.

5. Content Filtering and Caching

WebProxyCache includes content filtering capabilities. You are solely responsible for:

  • Configuring filtering rules appropriate for your organization and jurisdiction.
  • Informing users of your network about the presence of content filtering.
  • Ensuring cached content is handled in accordance with copyright and licensing terms.

6. Intellectual Property

All software, documentation, and technology provided as part of WebProxyCache are owned by Unveil Technology or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability, security, or availability of the Services. We do not guarantee complete protection from security threats or 100% cache hit rates.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unveil Technology shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, loss of data, profits, or business opportunities, or damages arising from unauthorized access, security breaches, or network downtime.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Unveil Technology harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your violation of these Terms, your use of the Services, or content cached or filtered through your deployment.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your license at any time for breach of these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease using the software and destroy all copies. Provisions relating to liability, indemnification, and intellectual property survive termination.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Paris, France, unless otherwise agreed.

12. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The most recent version will always be available on our website.
